Starting January 1, 2023, the Kentucky Department of Revenue will start charging customers 6% sales tax, however, your permanent residence will be exempt. To make sure you receive your exemption from your Electric provider it is important to fill out the form linked HERE and send it to your utility provider. Lebanon Junction Waterworks will be removing the tax from the residents that only have 1 meter in their name automatically, there will be no need to submit the form.
